Each hatch is equipped with a fan filter unit (FFU) that provides continuous airflow, ensuring a clean environment inside the hatch during the transfer process.

The Fan Filter hatch has a built-in recirculation fan and HEPA filter system with an adjustable fan speed controller to allow for between 20-300 air changes per hour, subject to the size of the hatch.

The FFU uses HEPA filters to remove particulate contaminants from the air, maintaining the required cleanliness levels within the hatch.

The hatch features PBSC’s dependable interlock system that ensures only one door can be opened at a time, preventing cross-contamination between rooms.

Manufactured from robust, smooth, and non-porous materials such as 304 or 316 stainless steel, with minimal visible fixings or recesses.

A completely frameless glass door leaf provides maximum visibility and natural light into and through the hatch.

Options for internal support shelves in glass or stainless steel, and compatibility with different types of wall constructions.

Available in various sizes and configurations, including single or double door options and right-angle designs, to suit specific cleanroom requirements.
