These APR inflatable seal doors provide unparalleled airtight containment for areas with heavy traffic and wheeled equipment. The doorframe is flush with the floor, ensuring there are no obstacles or tripping hazards for trolleys.
The door’s seal is inflated by compressed air against a curved frame, providing exceptional leak resistance for pressure differences up to 2000Pa (8″ w.g.).
Mainly used in containment controlled facilities such as BSL3 and BSL4 labs, featuring high leakage resistance across the complete door set, monitoring of seal pressure and the supply pressure from the building, the unique PBSC cast stainless steel hinge assembly and stand alone PLC controls are to name a few.
